+1 Emotionally Stunted Runic Knight

Hiya! Brand new player to the game, bringing in Celes Chere from Final Fantasy VI. I decided to take her from the earliest point of her introduction in the game, where she's awaiting execution before she meets Locke. I figured she'd have fewer inhibitions this way and be a little more grateful for being summoned here. Might canon update later, if that's allowed, should she happen to run into any castmates. Application, permissions, IC inbox, and kinks are all in her journal, and my Plurk handle is faetan.

I'll intro her once the log goes up, but I'd love to plot for things in the meantime if you're up for it! She's also hanging out in the test drive (I got a late start) if any of those prompts appeal. I look forward to RPing with you all!

Awk. I totally missed this because for some reason OOC comm is not on my feed, but hey there! I'm Mis and I play Rhys, the local healer-mage and weird goth mother hen type. Loved FF3 so much I bought it again for my GBA years after I beat it, so man, talk about memories! Ah, thank you!!! And yeah, I remember it as the third Final Fantasy way more than I do the sixth, I played the crap out of it when I was in high school. I am absolutely up for some plotting, I'd love an excuse to have Celes get to know more people. I'll add you right now.

Hehe, yeah. It was always American FF3 to me, and when I bought it for my GBA it was an adventure in confusion. But such a great game. I remember playing the island bit over and over again because dammit, I wanted Cid to have the good fish! Celes needed him. :(

And, I see you and you're added! I'm absolutely happy to plot, I expect Rhys to be trying to head into a temple when the next month starts up, so if Celes wants a little island tour, he'd be glad to show her around a bit!

Oh my gosh, same here, especially when I found out that he COULD be saved. I can't remember how I discovered that, I think I figured it out when his reactions changed. Definitely not on the first playthrough. And when I finally got hold of the soundtrack of the game I was so damn happy, you don't even know.

So yeah, I might be geeking out a little, don't mind me.

And a tour would be fantastic! She'd be more than happy to go exploring with Rhys. I honestly can't foresee her having any problems with him based on what I've seen in RP so far.

I was actually ticked that in the remake for Gameboy, they changed the Opera song. I was like "NO that's not the lyrics!" I actually still know them by heart and the new ones are just not as good. It made me so sad. It's still an amazing game.

And Rhys is...man, you have to WORK at it to have a problem with Rhys, pretty much (Raylan I'm looking at you). :) He is a total powderpuff, and it makes him happy to be able to help people out. He does actually have a personality...hmm, I'd say maybe somewhere between Locke and Sabin, maybe? Easygoing, thoughtful, mostly a fun guy with a serious streak when it's needed. So he's very easy to hang out with.

I actually kind of liked the change, juuuuuuust a tiny bit, because the words could be sung a little better to match the melody. I got to see the whole opera scene performed by a live orchestra with opera singers and everything at a Final Fantasy concert downtown. Money well spent, it was gorgeous.

Does he have a top level in the intro log? If so, I'll have her go interrogate him for information. (And relax when she realizes he's in the same boat they are.)

He doesn't have a toplevel right now, because I have been SO lazy lately, but tomorrow when I get rolling for the day, I will absolutely do this thing, if you like! give them a little start-up CR before they go temple exploring later. :)
